David formed River City Physical Therapy with Eric Verhaeghe in 1995. His main priority in his life is his Christian faith and belief in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is actively involved in Real Life Ministries, Bible Study Fellowship, and his family. He is married to Cathy, one of the main blessings in his life. They have four boys: Michael, Matthew, Zachary, and Jonathan. He loves to coach his boys in football, basketball, wrestling, and baseball. He is a committed exercise enthusiast. He loves to lift weights, ride bikes, and play with his kids in the outdoors. David also participated in college football for five years, baseball for four years, and ran track for one season. He played in two national championship games in football, winning the title one time. He also played baseball in Japan with a collegiate team.

• He also has a comprehensive education in athletic training. He is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Idaho Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), and the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Ivanka joined River City Physical Therapy in 2001. Prior to this, Ivanka practiced in South Dakota, and abroad in Australia and New Zealand. Ivanka has also spent 10 years as a smoke jumper, fighting fires throughout North America. Ivanka has specialized her treatment approaches to reflect her interests including orthopedic rehabilitation, spine care, and manual therapy.

• Diploma in Athletic Therapy, Mount Royal College, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
• Bachelor of Physical Education/Teaching, University of Calgary/University of Victoria, Canada.
• Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT), North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
• American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties - Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics.

Cory joined the team of River City Physical Therapy in 2008. As a native of North Idaho, he enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their two sons Andrew and Porter. Professional interests include orthopedic, sports, spine, and manual therapy. He is currently undergoing further training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and is certified through Level II.

Cory is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and a member of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA. Cory is very active with advancing the physical therapy profession in North Idaho where he has served as chair of the northern district for several years. Cory has been a member of the Idaho Physical Therapy Association (IPTA) Board of Directors from 2003-2005, and 2007 to the present. He currently serves as Vice President for the IPTA, and is a member of the House of Delegates for the APTA. He was recently awarded the "2010 Physical Therapist of the Year" for his work within the profession.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy, Idaho State University, 2005.
• Orthopedic Certified Specialist- American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, 2010.

Nate joined River City Physical Therapy in 1998. Clinical interests include: spinal dysfunctions, sports injuries including shoulders, knees, and ankles, and manual therapy.

His professional activities involve participation in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Orthopedic Section of the APTA, Idaho Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), and American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. He most recently served on the Idaho Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors as the Nominating Chair in 2000-01.

Nate has participated in NBA pro-am basketball through the Sacramento Kings, played college basketball and track, and enjoys recreational sports. He attends Bible Study Fellowship and coaches AAU basketball. He enjoys guitar and plays with Proclaim at his church. He is married to Barb and they have three children; Luke, Kiana, and Sara.

Eric has been practicing Physical Therapy in the northwest, since his graduation from Chicago's Northwestern University in 1990. Eric & David Hillman established River City Physical Therapy in Post Falls in 1995. Eric enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, and a variety of sports, but spends most of his non-working hours with his wife and three daughters. Eric is also involved in his church and likes financial planning and investing on the side.
